2027 Dave Dore Winter Classic Information:


Dates : January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Schedule: Games will begin before Noon on Friday. As early as 10:00 perhaps.

Cost: $1,150

Levels: C, D High, D Lower and Rec - 4 teams in each division.

Format: 3 games in round robin, top two teams in each division play Sunday for the Championship.

Registration: Will be a hybrid registration this year. 2 teams from each division will be invitational only. The remaining 2 teams in each division will be by draw. I will be sending invites out this week to the invitational teams, this will consist of local teams and teams that have not been able to get into the last couple years. I will open up registration for seven days and teams who wish to be put in the pool to be drawn randomly can register. I know this is totally different from all other years but considering the chaos over the last several years in registrations we feel this is the best way to give teams chances to participate in the tournament. We are trying to accommodate 16 teams on one sheet of ice which is not an easy task. Thank you for understanding.

Player registration will open when team picks are finalized. Below are the player eligibility requirements.

1. Eligibility Requirement: Participation in this tournament is limited to athletes who were assigned female at birth (as documented on the original birth certificate) and who are not currently undergoing hormone therapy related to gender transition.

2. Ineligibility:

   • Athletes who were assigned male at birth are not eligible to participate.

   • Athletes who were assigned female at birth but are using hormone treatments (e.g., testosterone or other gender-transition medications) are not eligible to participate.

3. Verification: The tournament organizers reserve the right to request proof of eligibility if necessary to ensure compliance with these rules.
